Partnerships

The Information Technology Research Center (iTRC) has worked diligently to build and maintain a range of partnerships with organizations in the public, private and non-profit sectors.  Public entities such as state and federal agencies, K-12 schools and postsecondary institutions are key to the iTRC fulfilling its educational and research mission.  Industry involvement continues to play a significant role in iTRC planning and development.  Projects frequently require close industry partnering in the proposal and development phases.  The non-profit sector also plays a key role as the iTRC works with "at risk" youth and with efforts to enhance regional economic development.  Partnerships with other non-profit entities is important in this effort.

One of the iTRC's major partnerships has been with the University of Washington's TRIO Training Program and their TRIO Quest Competition. The iTRC has sponsored the creation of the TRIO Quest Fund that provides awards to "at risk" students who participate and are winners in that competition.
